National Night of Prayer.JPGNational Night of Prayer for Life

St. Michael will be participating in the 28th National Night of Prayer for Life on Dec. 8th.  We will begin after 7:00 p.m. Mass with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.  Prayer lasts until Midnight and consists of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the Holy Rosary, the St. Michael prayer, and silent prayer time.  We will be united with churches across the country in prayer to end abortion and to restore God's blessings of life and religious liberty in America.  Please come to pray, for an hour or the entire time!

Children singing.jpgChristmas Youth Choir (gr. 2-8)

The Youth Choir will sing at the Children's Christmas Eve Mass at 4:00 p.m. on Dec. 24th and the 10:30 a.m. Epiphany Mass on Jan. 7th.  For more details and a registration form, click here.  For questions, email jkrueger@stmcatholicchurch.org, or call the parish music office at 763-497-2745, ext. 243.

Sound.jpgSound System Update

Our current target window to install new front speakers in the church (to replace the old tower speakers that are not working) is November 20-22.  This should help the sound quality tremendously.  Thanks for your patience.

Pledge Card 2017.jpgPledge Card Omission

Due to an inadvertent error, the Prayer Line ministry was deleted from this year's pledge card.  If you are either active in this ministry or interested in joining, please write it down somewhere on the card and note whether you are currently active or interested.  Thank you.

formed-logo-vertical.jpgOur parish subscribes to FORMED, an outstanding online source for free Catholic movies, books, audio and video productions about the Catholic faith. With our subscription, all of our parishioners are able to set up a personal account to use FORMED free of charge.  There is a FORMED app for phones as well.  If you are not taking advantage of this, you are missing out on a lot.  To set up your account you will need the parish's access code.  You can get it by either calling the parish office, or simply emailing jbonham@stmcatholicchurch.org and asking for the FORMED code.  Then go to FORMED.org to create your account.  Don't wait another day!

OUR MISSION PRAYER

Glory and praise to You, O Lord.  In humble gratitude for the enduring faith of St. Michael Catholic Church, we turn to You for guidance.  Grant us the wisdom to comprehend Your mission for us, and the courage to joyfully bring it to completion.  Transform our minds by Your truth, our hearts by Your love, and our actions for Your service.  Abounding in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit, may we become a people living for ChristAmen.
