The parish has been having a problem for some time now with sent emails not going through to certain people's email accounts. It is definitely a problem with Charter and Embarq email addresses, but may be affecting others as well. It appears that emails from the parish have been blacklisted by certain providers so that they will not go through. We are trying to get the problem fixed. If you have been waiting for an email response from someone at the parish, please call to see if it might have been sent but not received.
LIFT Is Here!
LIFT-Off is tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 6:30 p.m. -- we will begin with the shorter, weekday Mass, followed by brief talks by Fr. Richards and myself on LIFT and the coming program year. Please bring your entire family -- we will be done between 7:30 and 8 p.m.
Regular LIFT classes begin this weekend:
- Sunday families meet Sunday, Oct. 2, 12:30-2:30 p.m. (Lunch is at noon for those families who registered and paid for a Sunday meal.)
- Monday families on Monday, Oct. 3, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
- Wednesday families on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
The theme this year is the Mass and prayer, beginning with a great video series called Altaration.
Check out the complete schedule of classes here. Registration forms are available online or at the church. (StMCS families: LIFT is included in your parish school tuition, so sign your family up today!)

No Clothes Drop-Offs for Sharing and Caring Hands, Please!
We are currently without a volunteer to coordinate picking up the donations for Sharing and Caring Hands and driving them to Minneapolis. If you are interested in coordinating this, please contact the parish office. Until someone volunteers to take on this position, we are unable to accept any more donations. This does not affect the monthly meal that we will still prepare and serve for Sharing and Caring Hands. Thank you.
Our Kids' Club program is currently seeking an Assistant Coordinator for a full-time, Monday through Friday position. OUR MISSION PRAYER
Glory and praise to You, O Lord. In humble gratitude for the enduring faith of St. Michael Catholic Church, we turn to You for guidance. Grant us the wisdom to comprehend Your mission for us, and the courage to joyfully bring it to completion. Transform our minds by Your truth, our hearts by Your love, and our actions for Your service. Abounding in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit, may we become a people living for Christ. Amen.
