Church Affiliated Groups
This is a fraternal organization that holds fundraisers with the money going to the Catholic School and the Parish. They visit the sick, go to retirement homes, sponsor youth activities, and sponsor the Living Rosary and May Crowning. They also help to clean the church.
Parish members reach out with concrete help for practical needs, emotional and spiritual support with a spirit of hospitality, and acceptance of women and families letting them know that they are not alone during a difficult pregnancy, miscarriage, stillbirth, or single parenting. The members provide many services to our community and are a part of the ACCL.
This fund was established in 1991 to aid Catholic education. This fund has made generous donations to St. Michael’s Catholic School with the general hope of being able to keep tuition costs at a manageable level.
Meetings are held from August through April, generally the 4th Tuesday of the month after Mass. They provide many charitable services to the parish throughout the year including saying the rosary at members’ wakes, hosting a Spring Salad Luncheon, making and distributing quilts for the homeless, distributing Christmas baskets to the parish homebound, sponsoring educational opportunities, the CCW annual retreat, sponsoring the Graduates’ Breakfast, and holding an annual bake sale, among others.
The Knights of Columbus is a men’s Catholic fraternal organization serving the St. Michael and St. Albert’s parishes that supports family life and numerous activities for the youth, community, and the church. Meetings are the 1st Thursday of the month.

2010-2011 Calendar
Members inform the parishioners of Pro-life issues, work with the Archdiocese Respect Life office, and attend Archdiocesan quarterly workshops. Some functions include the Pro-Life newsletter, ecumenical prayer service, County Fair booth staff, Festival booth, Respect Life breakfast, and working with the Community Caring for Life Committee.
Serra is an organization of Catholic men and women. For over 70 years, their mission has been to foster and affirm vocations to the ordained priesthood and vowed religious life in the United States.
