I grew up in Maynard, Minnesota and attended St. Clara's Catholic Church. I graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. My teaching career includes experience in both public and Catholic education. I taught Kindergarten at Immaculate Conception School in Columbia Heights for 10 years. I have been teaching Kindergarten at St. Michael Catholic School since 2002 and love it here! I enjoy sharing my faith with my kindergartners.
My husband and I have one daughter, Sarah, who is a junior at STMA High School and is an alumni of StMCS. When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, golfing, scrapbooking, cheering for the Minnesota Vikings and spending time at our family cabin on Green Lake in Spicer, Minnesota.
