The Week Ahead for Monday, July 13, 2020

Adoration Livestream Ends Tomorrow

Very few people are adoring via livestream, and we are having frequent livestream outages tied to running the livestream 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As a result, we plan to discontinue the livestream of Adoration. The last day will be tomorrow, Tuesday, July 14. You can access online perpetual Adoration from EWTN and on several other sites listed here: virtualadoration.home.blog.

We continue to offer socially distanced Adoration in the main church, however, due to sacramental events and other parish activities re-starting, we are seeing more interruptions to Adoration. Scheduled adorers are being notified of Adoration closures in advance; if you drop by for Adoration at an unscheduled time and there is an event in the church, please come back to adore at another time.

Looking for the Livestream on the Homepage?

We continue to make improvements to our homepage, stmcatholicchurch.org. Specifically, we have reimplemented the “slider” version of the site, which enables us to promote upcoming activities, events and features more easily. If you are looking for our livestream, you can still find it one of three ways:

  • There is a permanent LIVESTREAM link at the top right corner of the webpage, in the menu.
  • The address to our YouTube channel is always youtube.com/c/StMichaelCatholicChurchStMichaelMN—feel free to bookmark or “favorite” that page.
  • The first of the sliders can be clicked to go directly to the YouTube channel; the sliders also rotate through, so if you miss it the first time you can wait or click the left and right arrows to get back to that screen.
