Daily Update for Sunday, April 5

Apr 5, 2020

Important Announcement and Invitation from Fr. Richards

In case you missed Fr. Richards’s important announcement this weekend, please take a few minutes to watch his video message below or at or pick up his letter to parishioners at the church—and please pray for our priests and parishes.

Palm Distribution After Mass

Palm Sunday Masses will be streamed like a regular Sunday Mass—however, staff will be outside, with gloves on, distributing blessed palms to those who would like to receive them after each scheduled Mass. Please stay in your cars and follow the signs, and feel free to drop off your offertory at these times. After 6 PM Mass on Sunday, April 4, palms will be distributed after Mass until 8 PM

Redesigned Homepage with Streaming Channel Embedded

We have revamped our parish homepage to add special content specific to Holy Week. Check out the new look at—and if you are looking for the streaming channel for Mass and Adoration, scroll down and click the video to the right. Check back again; we will be adding Holy Week content over the next few days

Sacraments and Prayer

Confessions Schedule. Confessions continue in the St. Michael Catholic Church parking lot—please drive in and follow the signs and cones. Scheduled Confession times at St. Michael are Monday, April 6, 7-9 PM; and Tuesday, April 7, 5:15-6:15 PM. Tuesday evening is the last opportunity for confession prior to Easter; there will be no confessions Holy Thursday through Easter Sunday.

Who is going to call me "Phyllis" when I come into confessional and other times. I wish you the very best. One day when I entered church a "thought??" came into my mind. "This is Father Richard's Church" At that time, Father Becker was gone, but not forgotten. Thank you for being with us. I love the picture over the confessional.
