New System for Cleaning and Sanitizing
If you see staff or volunteers in the church or gathering area with backpack units (like Andreea, right), spraying pews or high-touch surfaces, do not be alarmed: We are using a new cleaning system that enables us to disinfect our facilities more thoroughly in a fraction of the time. Stay tuned for a more complete explanation of the new system—but in the meantime, if you are interested in volunteering to help, please contact the parish office at 763-497-2745.
Say Farewell to Fr. Richards This Weekend
This Saturday and Sunday will be Fr. Richards’s last weekend here at St. Michael. After each Mass, he will be available to say goodbye to parishioners either outdoors or in the gathering area. Given social distancing requirements, we ask the you be patient and mindful of those around you from other households as you wait—and as brief as you can be when it’s your turn with our beloved pastor! For those who are not yet attending Mass in person, you can drive through the circle in front of the church to see Father beginning at around 12:45 PM on Sunday.
Guest Priest Kicks Off Justice, Healing and Forgiveness Initiative Next Weekend
Fr. Dan Griffith will be preaching at the 5 PM Mass next Saturday, June 27, and the 8:30 and 10:30 AM Masses on Sunday, June 28, on the topic of restorative justice and healing circles. Attendees will also have the chance to experience healing circles firsthand after the 10:30 AM Mass in the gathering area. This is the first in a series of events on Restorative Justice, Healing and Forgiveness in collaboration with the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. For more information, as well as printable flyers you can share for each of the upcoming events, visit our Justice, Healing and Forgiveness Initiative webpage at stmcatholicchurch.org/healing-initiative.
