Family of Faith is the primary faith formation program at St. Michael Catholic Church for families with children in kindergarten through 6th grade. Family of Faith is a family catechesis model that focuses on equipping parents to become the primary educators and evangelizers of their children. Family of Faith monthly sessions are offered from October through April each year. 

Parents and children attend a monthly Family of Faith session together as a family, on either a Monday or a Wednesday evening. Each monthly session is a combination of catechetical formation for parents and activity based learning for children. During the 2024-2025 formation year Family of Faith will be focusing on the second pillar of the Catechism, which is the Sacraments. 

After each monthly Family of Faith session parents will continue with faith formation in the home using the Word of Life curriculum from the Augustine Institute. Word of Life is organized by grade and includes both a hard copy version and a digital version for each child to use.
