Children who are validly baptized can prepare for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Holy Eucharist beginning in their second-grade year (or 7 years of age). The formation process includes:

• Children attend Sunday Sacrament Classes: Oct. 13, Nov. 17, Dec. 15, Feb. 16, Mar. 23 (3:30-5:30 pm)
• Families participate in the monthly Family of Faith family formation program. To learn more or to register for Family of Faith: Click Here
• Children and parents attend the 1st Communion Retreat (Children make their 1st Confession at this retreat): Saturday Mar. 29 (9:30-11:30 am)
• 1st Communion Mass Practice: Apr. 26 (9:30 am)
• 1st Communion Mass for Faith Formation Families: Apr. 27 (11:00 am Mass)
• Please note that children St. Michael Catholic School prepare for 1st Reconciliation and 1st Holy Communion through the school and not through the parish formation programs
