Biography
Growing up in Iowa, I attended Catholic school through Grade 8. I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa (Go Panthers!) with a major in Elementary Education and I received my Master of Education from St. Mary's University. I have been teaching in the Archdiocese since 1997, starting at Annunciation in Minneapolis. In 2001, we moved to STMA and I began teaching here at St. Michael Catholic School. It is here at StMCS that I took on the role of technology specialist and have loved it ever since! Being the technology specialist, allows me to introduce students to new and exciting ways of learning, such as Computer Science and coding. My husband and I have 3 children, 2 of whom are alumni of StMCS. When I'm not watching my children at events, you can find me cooking, enjoying a bonfire or cheering on the Packers. Teaching here at St. Michael Catholic School has given me the opportunity to not only grow as a teacher but also grow in my faith. The StMCS community is a family.
