I am a lifelong resident of Otsego and am proud to call this community my home. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher and am blessed to have found myself teaching in a Catholic School.
I began my education in the Elk River school district and then went onto college at St. Cloud State University and achieved a Bachelor's of Science degree in education. I later earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in reading at the University of St. Thomas. My teaching career began in Loretto at the Academy of Saints Peter and Paul where I taught first grade for eight years. I then started teaching here, at StMCS, in 2008 and have been teaching first grade here ever since. I am lucky to now be teaching in the community I love in the grade I love teaching. I enjoy being able to share my love of learning and love of Jesus with my students.
My husband Justin and I have two wonderful kids that attend St. Michael Catholic School. Our son, Jordan, is currently a second grader and our daughter, Jalayna, is a first grader. I love spending time with my family, reading a good book, and visiting my parents' lake home.
