Growing up in Fairmont, MN, my family belonged to St. John Vianney and instilled in me a deep Catholic faith. I obtained my BA and Elementary Teaching License from Hamline University. My senior year of college I had the privilege to travel abroad through the College of Saint Benedict's to study art and religion in Rome. It was an experience of a lifetime! I also had the opportunity to student teach in Brazil and spent my first year of teaching on the island of Guam. Before coming to Saint Michael Catholic School in 2013, the majority of my teaching career was at Minneapolis Public Schools. Being able to share the Catholic faith and see God's light shine through my students is the most rewarding part of teaching!
My husband Eric and I have three daughters. Our oldest two daughters, Lilly and Faye, are StMCS alumni and Maggie is a current StMCS student. We are incredibly blessed to be part of this close-knit, faith-filled community. I enjoy traveling, trips to the cabin, running, cheering for the girls at swim meets and mostly, being with my family.
